About LJWC  Helping others ensures our community  will be a better place to live!

The Lemont Junior Woman's Club (LJWC) is an all volunteer organization of about 100 members. The goal of the LJWC is to provide financial support to worthy organizations in the Lemont community. We are dedicated to enhancing the daily lives of all who live in and around Lemont. Since 1993, we have built a permanent site for Safety Village and helped the Park District construct the Lemont Junior Woman's Club Park. We provide significant financial contributions to Lemont's two food pantries and Meals on Wheels holiday food vouchers to families in need, scholarships for local students, and deliver an expansive safety curriculum for Lemont citizens. Each year our membership volunteers more than 7000 hours of service and distributes an average of $30,000 to local charities.

We'd love to welcome you as a member of the Lemont Junior Woman's Club. Don't let the Junior in our name fool you!! Women of all ages are welcome. The Lemont Junior Woman's Club is a diverse group of women represented by members of the corporate world to household management. We are a strong, active, dynamic organization devoted to Lemont and our world. We are fostering life-long friendships and having FUN!!!

"Continue to Inspire!" -Patti Senese, 2008 President
