The Lemont Junior Woman’s Club (LJWC) is an all volunteer organization of about 75 members. The goal of the LJWC is to provide financial support and programming to individuals, organizations and projects in the Lemont community. Since our inception in 1993, we have built a permanent site for Safety Village, a campus designed to teach safety programs to Lemont residents of all ages, and have helped the Park District construct the Lemont Junior Woman’s Club park at Centennial Field near the Lemont Park District Building.

We are committed to helping feed struggling families in our community by providing significant financial support to Lemont’s two food pantries and Meals on Wheels. In addition, we support education by sponsoring scholarships for local students, and delivering expansive safety curriculum for Lemont citizens. Each year our club volunteers more than 7,000 hours of service and distributes up to $30,000 to local charities.
