I’m a lifelong Lemonster, now raising my three children (ages 3, 5, and 7) here with my husband. As a freelance writer with diverse roles in the public library, business aviation, and philanthropy sectors, I am happy to use my fundraising, marketing, and IT skills to support the woman’s club. I enjoy drinking coffee (and wine), going on walks while listening to podcasts, and trying to put a dent in my neverending to-be-read booklist.
I joined LJWC in 2022 and am passionate about the impact the club’s Hope Closet has on the community by reducing, reusing, and recycling gently used clothes, shoes, and coats for those in need and those with always-growing family members.
My family (three of us at the time) moved to Lemont in September of 2020. I joined LJWC in January of 2023 with a hope to get more involved in the community and form new friendships in town. We’re now a family of five and have been loving building our roots here in Lemont.
During my time in LJWC I have helped lead several projects, served as Philanthropy Chair from 2025-2026 and am now honored to be serving as co-president. LJWC is full of dedicated, hard working, and compassionate women and it is a joy collaborating and forming friendships with our members.
I’ve enjoyed living in Lemont 9 years now and finally got around to joining LJWC in 2020 (I was the only member to attend that September meeting in person!) I love the positive impact that LJWC imparts upon the Lemont community. Through my experience in the club, I’ve learned new skills in website management, QuickBooks, event planning, and communications. I’ve served as treasurer, co-president, and now secretary.
When not chasing my four kids around (ages 9, 7, 5, and 2), I love gardening and being outside in nature.
I joined the LJWC in May of 2021 after attending a new member event. I was intrigued by the vast personalities in the Club and was happy to join after living in Lemont for over 15 years. I began my journey on the Philanthropy Committee, later moving to Philanthropy Chair, Co-President and now Treasurer.
I spend my time outside of the LJWC with my husband, daughter and son enjoying the surrounding areas in our RV, her name is Fred. Music and reading are also two things I cannot live without, listening to California pop punk and reading gothic horror or Stephen King is how I spend any other free time.
I’ve lived in Lemont since 2015 with my husband, Kyle, and our son, Oliver. I joined the LJWC to connect with others in the community who are passionate about volunteering. I recently took on the role of Juniorettes Advisor and look forward to leading fun activities and service projects with the group.
I’ve been a Flight Attendant with Southwest Airlines for 26 wonderful years, where I developed a strong passion for service, teamwork, and community.
We’ve lived in our home in Lemont since 2018. This year, my husband and I will be busy building a new house near the library. We’re hoping the process goes smoothly and without too much stress. We’re also celebrating our 10-year anniversary and are hoping to renew our vows in December!
When I'm not focused on the house, I love spending time with our three kids, teaching middle school, meeting new people, and puzzling. I enjoy creating fun experiences with my family and friends.
My family and I moved to Lemont in May 2021, and I joined the LJWC shortly after in 2022. I was excited to meet new people and volunteer in the community. I have met so many amazing women and love all the fun membership events.
When I am not busy raising my 3 kids (7,5,3), I love listening to audiobooks, working in my flower beds, taking walks, and having fun with family and friends. I am so excited to host some new membership events and get to know some more members!
I have three children and have been married for 8 years. I grew up in Lemont and moved back after college. I enjoy checking out the new restaurants and shops downtown and volunteering for local organizations.
I joined the LJWC in November 2021. My favorite activity was volunteering for Breakfast with Santa.
I have lived in Lemont since 2020, when I moved back to Illinois after spending about 20 years in the Southeast of the US. I grew up in the IL south suburbs and am very happy to have found a wonderful home and neighborhood in Lemont. I joined LJWC in 2023 to give back to my community and connect with other women who are committed to volunteerism. I have met so many amazing women and truly enjoy the variety of activities the club offers.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, and seeing Broadway musicals.
