Do you want to volunteer? Are you in a position to give back to your community? Would you like to get to know more women in the community? Whatever your reason for joining, Lemont Junior Woman's Club (LJWC) is an organization whose members work together to support our community. We'd love to have you join us!

Members choose a specific standing committee to serve on (though are welcome to volunteer outside of their committee): Community Outreach, Juniorettes, Membership, Philanthropy, or Ways & Means. Committee members attend committee meetings and are asked to chair (1) event/project or volunteer for (3) events/projects throughout the club year. Please review LJWC's standing committee descriptions prior to selecting a committee to serve on.

If you are interested in joining LJWC, please come check out a meeting first!  Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month, September-May, typically at the VFW in downtown Lemont (beginning with doors opening at 7 pm and the business meetings beginning at 7:30 pm).  Active LJWC members are asked to attend at least 1 of every 3 general meetings throughout the calendar year. Please See our upcoming events for more information.

Associate memberships are also available for those who have been members for more than 5 years and wish to have a less active role.

Not sure you're ready to join but would like to learn more about LJWC? Let us know here, and we'll send you additional information to review.
